I did not open this blog a few days ago to only talk about myself. Instead, I'll also talk about other guys, who do amazing things while doing their favorite hobby: gaming.
I did not open this blog a few days ago to only talk about myself. Instead, I'll also talk about other guys, who do amazing things while doing their favorite hobby: gaming.
Of course, I'm talking about the Zelda Marathon's second edition. What they're going to do, is speedrunning the most popular Zelda games (like the recent Skyward Sword). In a team of 7 people, they're going to play ~7 Zelda games in ~120 hours. Last year, they collected ~6000 euro's and donated it to the 'Hartstichting', a charity for people with heart diseases. And, say it yourself, collecting hearts in Zelda games is pretty important. (Not to mention Heart Containers and Pieces!)
They'll have an live stream at http://www.zeldamarathon.nl/, so go watch it if you've got nothing better to do. You can also donate (which I will not do, gotta save for a Wii U :D) for the 'Hartstichting'. Oh yes, I heard somewhere that there are 1000+ prizes, so donating might be a good idea. :)
Happy watching! And, to also promote myself a little bit, GEM's process is just fine. The next I'm going to work on is the 'platforming feature' that was announced at the homepage. Then, I think it's almost ready for launch.
